Deeside hosts the final round of the Cheshire T&F League match for the Harriers this weekend, on Sunday 5th September at Deeside Athletics Club.
In the Women's events, Harriers are battling to overtake Stockport Colwyn Bay to get a top 8 finish, whilst in the Men's events Harriers need a good performance to hold off Trafford AC to take 10th place in the league.
The Under 11's combined scores put them locked in a four way battle with Macclesfield, East Cheshire and Colwyn Bay to earn 3rd place in the league overall.
We need a good turn out across all age groups and in as many events as possible to get maximum points from this meeting - and the weather might even be kind to us!!

Since the track opened in 2008 at Widnes, we've been maintaining records for club athletes. This is the first time they have been published, so if there are any errors let us know and we'll put the "record" straight!! Many thanks to Lynne Wright for pulling all of this together.
These records will be permanently available under the "Club details" section of the website.
Just for a bit of fun, we've been running a poll on the website, and a new one has now started. You can find it just on the right hand side on the main page of the website.
In the last poll on the website, cross country came out the favourite discipline with 58% of the votes. Track & Field came next with 40% and Sportshall at 2%.
Anyone can vote, so get your votes in!!
