Cheshire T&F - overall results Print

Tuesday, 28 September 2010

The final team totals for the Cheshire T&F League have been published.

In the Under 11s competition, Harriers were well up the table and finished 6th overall thanks to excellent team performances from all athletes involved.

A combination of excellent individual performances from a team which often had to give up valuable points due to lack of competitors meant that Harriers finished 11th overall in the table, despite finishing 10th in both the mens and womens competitions.

Crewe & Nantwich AC achieved a clean sweep across the mens, womens, combined and U11s tables.

Full tables will be published on the Cheshire AA website in the fullness of time!

Saturday 18th September Halton and Frodsham took part in the first Road Relays at Leigh Sports Village.

The U13 girls had two teams take part Charlotte Davies, Emily Ross and Jenny Pyatt and Kiera Grady, Georgia Aston Massey and Jess Wright being the teams. Kiera, Georgia and Jess were the second Cheshire Team home and they received their Silver medal.

Unfortunately there was only 1 under 15 boy, Richard McGeachie.

Full results and times will be available (eventually!) on the Race Results website.

All athletes ran their best and enjoyed the course. We are keen to see more support for the teams, especially the boys.

Entering these events is all about gaining the valued experience of running in a competition. We have more Road Relays and Cross Country's coming up and our Indoor season starts on Sunday 3rd October at Kingsway, Widnes . If you are interested in any of the events please speak to your team manager.
