A great turnout on a lovely sunny April day at Crewe, matched my some excellent early season performances from club athletes of all age groups. Personal bests and AAA graded results were achieved by several athletes.
Full results are now available on the Cheshire AAA website (click here). Harriers finished the day in 3rd place overall, and in 2nd place in the U11s category.
Jess Wright had the best "distance" performance of the day at the meeting with a G1 run in the 800m whilst Mike Ethlan achieved the top performances in the "jump" and "male" categories with a G1 leap of 2.00m in the high jump.
U11 Boys
Chris ran a great 600m race leading from start to finish, and he was backed up by Lauchlan who again ran well to come in 4th overall.
Luke and James won their 75m races, recording the fastest times of the day in their age group. Quite an acchievement when you consider both were making their track debuts. Chris and Lauchlan also won their races to round off a clean sweep in the sprint races.
Chris and James also both took top spots in the A and B groups in the long jump.
The U11's crowned off the day to win the 4x100m relay. All of them ran superbly and they dominated the race to come home 1st!!
