Now that the indoor and cross country seasons are in full swing, it's time to reflect on some of the great performances from throughout the year in T&F from Harriers.

9 performances by our athletes have seen them ranked in the top 100 from throughout the UK this year.

Topping the list, and claiming 3 of those performances is Jenny Pyatt - her throw of 35m65 at Wrexham in September sees her ranked 4th in the UK in her age group, with a throw that also ranks 84th in the "all time" list.  Add to that ranking 45th in the javelin, 82nd in the shot put (and a near miss with 105th in the hammer throw) Jenny has been rewriting the club record book for throws, as well as cleaning up in terms of medals at the Cheshire County athletics championships.

Also ranked in the top 5 in the country is Jacob Birtles, with a time of 2m17.1s for the 800m, also setting club records in the 1500m (46th in the country) and as part of the 4x100m squad.

Lizzie Wright ends the year ranked 56th in the 150m, and 84th in the 800ms, whilst Emily Ross placed 98th in the UK in javelin.  Rounding out the top 100 performances is Ben Sutcliffe who places 65th in the 400m hurdles.

Of course, no performance put in by any club athlete putting their heart and soul into their event should be overlooked, whether or not it ranks in the top 100 in the country - but there's no harm in celebrating these great performances either!!
